About Us

Hi!  I’m Alison.  I am originally from southeastern Michigan, but am currently settled in sunny North Carolina.  I graduated from Wake Forest University and then went on to pursue my love for food by attending culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte.  I am married to the sweetest soul who shares my passion for everything and we have a pup called Hazel.  I love dessert above all else, but thoroughly enjoy plowing through the necessary meats and vegetables to get there.  Though my culinary palate is not quite as broad as Cagney’s, I consider myself an adventurer in the kitchen, and am glad to share some belly-fillers with you.

He’s Cagney. Cagney was born and raised in North Carolina and also attended Wake Forest University.  He is currently achieving a Masters in Fine Arts and is the best filmmaker and screenplay writer around.  Cagney will try literally anything except grapefruit (this is baffling to everyone) and will accept any culinary challenge, should you pose one.  And I hope that you do.  He brings a fantastic sense of fun to the kitchen and is very compelled by a plate’s overall presentation.  He is, afterall, an artist.
